How much does postage/shipping cost?
Shipping prices are calculated automatically at the checkout page when shipping address has been added.
Please note all our orders are sent from the UK using Royal Mail services. Our shipping prices are calculated per country to offer you the best value. Royal mail is currently imposing surcharges due to COVID-19, these charges are included in your shipping price.
We have a 2kg parcel limit in place. If you are unable to check out on large orders please contact email@example.com
When will my parcel arrive?
For UK customers your parcel will arrive approx. 3 working days from when we sent your parcel. Through royal mail 48 hour services.
For International customers you can expect to receive your parcel from 7 – 14 working days from when we sent your parcel (next working day). All international parcels are sent with tracking which will be sent to you on your billing email and phone number.
Whilst we will use our best efforts to ensure delivery by the delivery timescale stated above, we and our delivery service providers may be unable to do so by reason of circumstances beyond our/their reasonable control, including without limitation extreme weather conditions, adverse traffic conditions, failures of vehicles, inability to access your property (“Event Beyond Reasonable Control”). You agree that we will not be liable where delivery is not received on the date you expected where it was caused by an Event Beyond Reasonable Control.
Please be advised that on any public holiday dates in your country, deliveries will not be made. If normal 14 working days have passed and you have not received your parcel please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Will my parcel be charged customs and import charges?
For customers ordering outside of the UK: You may be charged for handling fees and taxes as your order passes through customs. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country and any charges on a parcel must be paid by the person receiving the parcel.
Please note following the UK’s exit from the EU (Brexit) the above also applies to all EU countries. On 1 July 2021, the current VAT exemption on UK goods being sold into the EU will be removed. This means all goods travelling to the EU, will be subject to VAT being paid on entry.
1bike1world has no control over these charges as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. We would recommend checking your customs website for more information.
Who will deliver my parcel?
Your order will be sent out from our warehouse by royal mail.
If you are ordering outside of the UK once your order has arrived in your country, it will be passed on to an internal postal service, according to standard delivery procedures.
Will I need to be in when my parcel arrives?
A signature may be required, so we suggest your order is delivered to an address where someone will be available to accept it.
If you’re not in when your parcel arrives, our delivery partner will leave a card telling you where it is. It might be left in a safe place or there will be details on how to pick up your order or rearrange delivery. 1bike1world cannot be held liable for any parcels that are lost or stolen as a result of any specific delivery instructions left for the carrier.
We reserve the right to cancel any order which is logistically too complicated to deliver and will treat this order as a cancelled order. A refund will be given to the original payment method if any monies have been paid.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The above does not affect your statutory rights.
